I have a simple user object that I am creating through openUserObject that
displays three u_dw's. I'm dynamically changing the dataobject and resizing
the datawindows based on the detail band height and then sticking all three
together to simulate one long data entry form. I'm then using the
scrollbars on the userobject to scroll when the combined length is longer
than the screen height.

I have no problems lining up the datawindows but no matter what I do to the
user object, adding the scrollbars always makes the object far too large.
There are always a couple of inches added to the rightside and bottom.

I have tried playing with the linesPerPage and UnitsperLine etc. Following
the PBUnits * .70/100 rule etc. I have even tried hardcoding the size in
units but to no avail.

The basic setup is that I have a w_sheet window with a u_tvs, a split bar,
and a u_dw. Clicking on the treeview opens a different userobject. If the
user object isn't open then I open it dynamically, size it to the same size
as the u_dw and then the scrollbars should take care of the rest.

When the splitbar moves or the window resizes I resize and move the open
userobjects according to the changes to the datawindow which is tied to the
splitbar and the inv_resize object of the window.

I'm a touch concerned that my problem is related to the PFC objects but even
when I disable all those it still doesn't work.

Any ideas? I'm going batty over what should be a simple issue. I actually
thought that I could have just set the Scrollbars on and that was it.

thanks

jack
