I'm trying the evaluation version on a linux system. I'm
following the tutorial, and when it says 'Connect to the
sample database from Interactive SQL ' I type 'dbisql -c
"dsn=ASA 9.0 Sample"' being the server already launched with
'bin/dbsrv9 -n asademo9 asademo.db' but I receive the error
in the attachment.

What can it be due?

Thanks

Fede

I believe this is the problem:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no dbjodbc9 in java.library.path

Is "dbjodbc9.so" in your $LD_LIBRARY_PATH ?

BTW: Linux problems are best discussed in the ASA/Linux newsgroup:

sybase.public.sqlanywhere.linux

The following directory should be in that path:

ASANY9/lib

and it should contain the file: dbjodbc9

I suggest posting any follow ups to the above newsgroup. That's where
the Unix/Linux ASA users and developers hang out.
