Our current PDAs run PPC2002 and 5.2 client, and we are
running 5.2 server.

Due to unavailaibility of more PPC2002 devices we want to
start deploying PDAs running PPC2003.

Can we run server 5.5, and client 5.5 on PPC2003 devices
without affecting exsisting PPC2002/5.2 devices?

The 5.5 server should support clients back to 4.2, so you should be fine
with that mixed client base. The only place where matching versions can be
important is if you are using the XML data conduit and the on-device
JavaScript Avantgo database objects.

We observe a difference in the rendering of HTML in 5.5
Server (from 5.2) - is there a document anywhere that
describes these (and any other) differences?

Keith,

Each release is accompanied by a release notes document, but this sounds
more like a subtle change that may not have been done on purpose and didn't
get caught in QA testing. What difference are you observing? Can you send
me the two html files off the list? Alternately, if it's a serious problem,
you might want to open a case with support.
