I'm currently trying to upgrade from Sybase - ASA 6 to ASA
9. It works on the local side of things. Problem occurs
when trying to set up a server for user's end of things.
When I attempt to run the service with the application I
need... It tells me I have a server running with this name.
This is probably true since I've upgraded from v6 - but I've
un-installed v6. Does anyone know what I need to disconnect
this server to make this work?

I need this server name to connect to my application. I'm
running on Windows 2003.

Are you using dbeng9 or dbsrv9 to start the database?
Can you show us your startup command line?
Can you also show use the *exact* error message text?
