Hi Paul,

Can you provide the client version that you are using, the
device OS and type, and the amount of free memory that is on
the device?

It sounds like a Palm since the older devices had a limited
amount of memory and syncing many channels can fill up the
device.

Is there anything different about what is happening in the
last few days? Does the user have an AvantGo Mobile
Internet account as well?

Hope this helps,

Tom Silverstrim

Hi Tom,

I work with Paul, sorry that this answer never came out to You.
We use v5.5 on the client side, and 5.5 on the server as well (powered by
lnux).

The memory problem is somehow linked to a memory leakage problem that seems
to have been addressed as a mbusiness client problem (the variables not
freeing up memory).
This is happening in a XML database environment.

Do you now when the next release is due with a fix for this?
We are running currently 5.5 build 142 for Linux.
the devices are ipaq 2210.

regards,
Marcin
