I created a batch file that reads as files
c:\
cd\Backup
DBBACKUP -c "eng=DBname;dbn=DBname;uid=dba;pwd=sql" -o
c:\Backup\backmain.log -y c:\backup\dbbkup
echo.|time|find "current">>c:\Backup\backmain.log
echo.|date|find "current">>c:\Backup\backmain.log

but it is not working, only thing different is there is more
than one Sybase DB running, each on a seperate service, on
that machine and i did'nt create the service in sybase
central, just a shortcut to dbsrv70.exe withe the path to
the db in the properties of the shortcut.

What is not working?
What error messages are you getting?
Is the database server actually running?
