How to in #develop?
I am trying to do a database connection to ASA9.
I have the .net framework installed in my xp pro m/c.
I tried using OLE DB for ODBC drivers.
I also used the SQL Anywhere 9 connection (but this requires to start the
database explicitly). It would not start automatically.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Please point to a help link or write up. Will avoid more questions.
Thanks
VSV

We haven't done any testing with #develop and there isn't any
documentation for this environment. Sorry.

VSV,

Have you tried adding datawindow object to the control on the properties
page in #develop?

Thanks.

Leon.

Thanks for reminding me. I forgot about this free open source IDE. I
really needed to test the dw in the .Net environment but for some reason
I cannot register it for my VStudio IDE.

Right-click on any available tool category listed in the tools dockable
window. (Context Menu should appear)
Select Configure Sidebar... from context menu.

Note:I chose to place dw control tool on my Components palette.

On Configure Sidebar Dialog -
Select Components under the categories listing. Click Add Components
button. (Add Components Dialog should appear.)

On Add Components Dialog -
Select Custom tab then click button with 3 ellipses(...) to search for
the datawindow.dll file that was installed when you installed DW.Net.
once found click Show Components button. DW, DS and transaction
components should appear in listing. Click OK.

Click OK on configure sidebar dialog.

Newly added components should show up now under Components on your tool
palette.

Good luck
Cliff
