There is an existing 64 bit version for the Itanium line of processors,
but not for AMD 64.

Thank you Michael. I am in the process of evaluating ASE
12.5.x with Linux and if sucessfull and faster compare to
Windows, we will be migrating our database from Windows to
Linux.

Hi Michael,

Sybase is developing ASE for the AMD Opteron (Linux). Last I heard Q4
2004.
