I want to play around with moving data - datastore to/from
dataset via XML. Any advice?

Hi Alex,

Take a look at the importString or importFile methods for importing
XML data into the datastore. For exporting data you can use the SaveAs
method.

The next release is slated to have direct support for datasets and I
think dot notation access to the xml property of the DataWindow object
in the datastore will be available as well.
