Hi.

I read Appeon 2.8 now support dynamic transactions with
SQLCA parameters, as CacheName in DBParm property. Is
possible send others parameters as UserName or Password?

We need to follow users activity registering their operation
using USER and SYSDATE functions in Oracle, when a user
create or modify a register. Our application use intensively
that functions, even in querys when a filter criteria is
replaced with USER function.

Regards,
Manuel Gonzales.

Hi Manuel,

Appeon 2.8 has enhanced support for transaction object by supporting dynamically
setting DBMS and DBPARM. However, the connection cache specified in the DBPARM
must pre-exist in EAServer.

You can place calls to the USER and SYSDATE functions in a NVO and deploy the
NVO to the server. For connecting to database in the NVO, do not use connection
caches, but directlly use JDBC driver or other drivers, and prompt the user to
enter password.
