I need to be able to change the stored procedure name (and database) at run
time.
Up until now I have been developing some datawindows that had the stored
procedure name embedded in them, so it would just retrieve the right data at
run time by a call to dw.retrieve().
However, now I have to connect to one of two databases at run time and hence
need to retrieve data from a different stored proc and the name is
determined at run time.
Can someone tell me or point me to where I can find info on how to do this?

ANy info would be greatly appreciated.

Mark

In DataWindow Designer, if you select the File/New menu option on the
Tools tab you will find a tool called DWSyntax. You can use this to
get the syntax to do a Describe or Modify on the DataWindows. For
example, the Procedure property of the DataWindow can be modified like
this:

<DW Control Name>.Modify("DataWindow.Table.Procedure='1 execute
<owner>.<procname>;1 @<name of proc arg> = :<name DW arg>, @<name of
proc arg> = :<name of DW arg> ...' ")
