We recently upgraded the Server OS on the server running
ASA8.02 to Server 2003 from NT4 and are having problems with
our remote ODBC connections. Prior to the upgrade we were
successful with this connection. We used on the Network
Tab:
TCP/IP checked and the parameters set to: Host =
xx.xxx.xxx.xx;UseUDP=No. Additionally, shared memory was
checked. Now we get an error message Database server not
found. We are using a Netscreen 204 firewall and have XP
Pro OS on the client side

Note : This question would have been more appropriate for the general SQL
Anywhere newsgroup, as opposed to the QAnywhere newsgroup. Try posting to
sybase.public.sqlanywhere.general next time you have an ASA specific
question.

Can I ask a silly question? Did the IP address of your machine did not
change as a result of the OS upgrade?
