I have read in some articles that some Sybase people are playing around with
the Web DW.Net control. I was wondering if they could answer the following
questions(I am not sure if I have all the .Net terms correct but I am trying
to get at is how tightly integrated into the ASP.Net environment will the
Web DW.Net control be)

1) Will the Web DW.Net use the ViewState capability of .Net or will it
maintain its own hidden context field like the HTML DW?

2) Will columns in the DW be converted to .Net Web controls, .Net HTML
controls or directly into HTML? Examples of .Net Web controls are TextBox,
CheckBox, RadioButton, HyperLink etc

3) If the answer to 2 is that the columns will be converted into .Net Web
controls, will the Init, Load, PreRender and Unload events of the .Net Web
controls be available? Will there be any limitations that will prevent the
LoadViewState, LoadPostdata, SaveViewState, Render, etc methods from being
overridden?

I've asked the engineering team working on the webforms support to
respond to these questions. I'll post their response here.
