Does anyone know how to back up version 6.04 daily to tape.
Veritas does not have an agent to backup Sybase. Any
suggestions?

Note : This question would have been more appropriate for the general SQL
Anywhere newsgroup, as opposed to the QAnywhere newsgroup. Try posting to
sybase.public.sqlanywhere.general next time you have an ASA specific
question.

v604 does not the ability to backup directly to tape. The dbbackup utility
can be used to make a backup of your database and log file to another
directory in your file system (possibly even a network drive if you want),
and these backup files can then be spun to tape if tape is what you really
want.
