I have a Backup event that was running on an old server and i'm trying
to get the same event to run on a new one. Both are running 9.0.1.1862.
on W2k3. I didn't set this up initially, but just want to port it to the
new server.

The event is defined as

CREATE EVENT "BackupMidnight" ENABLE AT ALL
HANDLER
begin
backup database directory
'E:\\PlantIQDatabase\Daily_Automatic_Backup' transaction log truncate
end
go
COMMENT TO PRESERVE FORMAT ON EVENT "BackupMidnight" IS
{BEGIN
BACKUP DATABASE
DIRECTORY 'E:\\PlantIQDatabase\Daily_Automatic_Backup'
TRANSACTION LOG TRUNCATE
END

}
go
ALTER EVENT "BackupMidnight"
ADD SCHEDULE "BackupMidnight_1"
START TIME '00:00:00' ON
('Sunday','Saturday','Friday','Thursday','Wednesday','Tuesday','Monday')
go

commit work
go

I did notice when looking at the events under a speficific db that it
did not have a start date, i tried to add that date, and modifed the
time to be 5 minutes in the future and saved the event and that did not
fix the issue.

Is there any log files that show activity? If the event fired? any
syntax that may be missing/incorrent.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Jeff

Please disregard. There was both a pathing issue and a spelling issue
in the port to the new host. DOH!
