Hello everyone,

what is the newest build of M-Buz anywhere?
We are running 5,.5 build 142, and there is a memory leakage problem on the
client side (when using an XML database), as wel as some sync problems (we
have to delete user accounts on the device and create them again for the
user to start syncing).

regards,
Marcin

Hi Marcin,

Last week we released a patch that addresses some client memory leak issues
and some device-to-server connection issues. The new build numbers are:

Server: 5.5.160
Client: 5.5.110

You can download the new version of the Linux server (which includes the new
clients) from http://www.ianywhere.com/downloads/software/mbus_linux.html .
I hope that it addresses the problems you're having.

Take care,

Dan Comfort

Thats great news Dan,

is installation of that new version just a matter of creating a new binary
CAB channel for users?

thanks,
Marcin

Marcin,

You will need to run the installer on the clients.

Client Auto-upgrade is an oft-requested feature and is on the roadmap. The
good news is that M-Business Client 5.5 will be auto-upgradeable. The bad
news is that this work is not complete as of today.

Hi Dan,

i tried that link, that the build seems to be the same as before - 142.
Can you confirm that the newest build of the server is there?

thanks,
Marcin
