Hi

Please how do I use many instances of a globally defined
transaction.
I have over 30 forms connected to a single database base
instead of dragging a transaction component on to each form
and assigning connection string dbparameter for each form I
created a single TR transaction in a code module.

when i tried to create new instances of TR in the forms it
said TR not defined.

I need to do it in one place bc if i change the database i
have only one place to change the TR.dbparameter =
"connectionstring='DSN=myserver'" for example

thanks in advance

I don't think you want to create new instances of TR, you just want to
treat TR as a global variable. You should be able to do this by just
creating a method that returns the reference to the a singleton
transaction object.
