Hi,

I have a problem to synchronise the Lotus Notes adress book
to the pocket PC.
When we initiate the synchronisation from the pocket PC, it
works (but in this case only the Mails and the Calendar are
synchronise as the adress book is not stored on the Domino
server but is stored locally on user's pc) so I've
installed the "Lotus Notes Address Book Sync" functionality
on the PC to synchronise Local adress book (names.nsf).
It was working well until I've upgraded from pylon 5.4 to
5.5 and now I get the following error message when
synchronyse from the PC :

An error occurred initializing the connection with Lotus
Domino. Please contact your Administrator to check your
Domino configuration information. Error: (Lotus Notes
returned 0x0495) Arguments non valides Domino User Name:
CN=franck lancia/O=ait-fia

Any advice would be welcome

It seems that the problem is that I'm unable to set the
Pylon client of the PC.
If I click on
setting
sync setting
and then settings to the right of the item name I want to
modified ( in this case it's address book) nothing happens,
the click is inactive.
I check on the Pylon console admin but the configuration
seems correct and "allow user overide" is ticked off
everywhere

From a command line, navigate to C:\Program Files\Sybase\Pylon
Anywhere\Clients and run the command:

regsvr32 EmnPIM.dll

Let me know if this resolves your issue. Also, are all users of your system
seeing this behaviour?

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your answer.
In fact it seems that my problem was due to a bug in Pylon
Anywhere Ver 5.5
I get the following workaround from the pylon support :

"There was an issue with the 5.5 installation that has been
fixed in newerversions that may cause this error you are
seeing.
Options appearing to be disabled on the installation is an
issue which we have changed for the next version.
The workaround to enable this setting is to delete the
registry
setting"HKLM\Software\Synchrologic\Portal\1.0\DefaultUser\Translator\LotusNotes\AllowDominoSync"
