Hi, when i configured the replication agent for ms sql server in a local
network, dont have problems, the "test_connection", "ra_status" and
"ra_statistics" commands are very good, and the replication is ok.

But i try configure the replication agent over internet, have problems,
the "test_connection", "ra_status" are ok, but the "ra_statistics" show
in "Number of XLog operations skipped (maint user, unmarked tables)" a
number and not replicate the data from ms sql server.

What is the possible cause of the no replication?

Hello, Javier,

The maintenance user is the name of the user that you define when you create
the primary connection in RepServer. By default, RepAgent is configured to
*not* replicate any transactions made by the maintenace user. So, if you --
as the maint user -- insert/update/delete data in the primary tables,
RepAgent will skip those transactions, and they will not be replicated.

You have two choices:

1 - use a different user id when modifying the primary tables
2 - modify RepAgent configuration to always replicate maint user
transactions -- this may be okay for a test system but is not recommended
for a production system

Thanks,
Wanda
