Hi,

We currently set the product to sync Lotus Notes Mail, todo, calendar and it
works fine. We would like to sync for all our users a central address book.
I did find a place to setup personnal address book sync, but I want to sync
a master address book to all my user. We currently have a CRM where all our
contact are listed. I didn't figure out where to do that.

Any help would be appreciate.

Thanks!
Stephan

Stephan:

You can easily configure Pylon Anywhere to sync a Domino directory or other
shared Conatct database. This database will need to be a standard Domino
contact database.

This is configured just below the Personal Address Book configuration on the
User Settings tab of a Lotus Domino Profile. That tab also contains an
example of how this field should be configured.

Hope this helps.

Matt..

Stephan:

What template does this database use? You mentioned that it is populated
using a CRM app. Is this contacts database built using a custom template,
or is it a standard Notes contact database template?

it's a custom template but it's based on the address book template. They
add many fields, but didn't change the basic. We are able to sync this
address book with many other application like Pylon Desktop, with
blackberry, intellisync, etc... So I supposed that this is not the problem.

We we add the address book, the synchronisation process doens't give any
clue, any error or message...

Any idea ?

Stephan:

We look at the template name, and rely on the template being a standard
template.

If this template is the same as the default template, are you able to apply
teh standard template to it?

Our Pylon Desktop products may evaluate the format at a lower level, wheras
Pylon Anywhere requires the standard template names and contents.

Are you able to try this, or perhaps create a test Domino Directory with the
standard template to test with?

Matt..
