Greetings,

I am upgrading from Pylon Application Server 5.0 to Pylon iAnywhere 5.5 and
Pylon Application Server 6.0.

When I upgrade my Palm Pilot users, the connection and Hot0sync works, but
after the hot-sync, the Palm Pilot displays "Service Connection Progress."
After a few moments, it displays "PPP Timeout 0x1231."

It's like the Palm Pilot is trying to connect to something else after it
hot-syncs. Why is it doing that? How can I disable that?

Thank you for suggestions.

David R. Noble

Greetings,

I swear I read the User's Guide manual twice ... but it didn't sink-in until
the third time.

I believe the problem was solved by disabling the "Initiate Network
Connection" option. On the Pylon Main Screen, I went to Setup ...
Push/ReadySync ... Advanced ... and de-selected the "Initiate Network
Connection" option.
