Hi,

We were so pleased with the eval that we has bought some
copies of the product.

One Question, Do I need to remove the Eval version before
installing the full version. I assume I will have too.

regards

Jon

Glad to hear you like DataWindow .NET!

I think it would be a good idea to uninstall the evaluation vesion and
then install the full product. There are some timelock files and
settings, etc. that should probably be removed to ensure you have no
problems using the full product.

Dave Fish

Dave,
I have a related question. I installed evaluation copy downloaded from
Sybase. I ran into a problem in installing "DW installation could not find
Visual studio net 2003 first install VS2003 before install DW". I waited to
get a cd along with PB 10 and tried to install it and got the same message.
I do have some development with Visual Studio 2003.and it is there. How can
I install properly so that DW could recognize VS2003?
Thanks,
Rao/..

Dave,
I found the answer. I had VS2002 and VS2003 some time ago and I
uninstalled VS2002 later. Probably the uninstall might have knocked out a
registry key or Path parameter. When I reinstalled VS2003 the problem was
gone.
