I find WinForm's implementation of layouts very useful, although very
error-prone in GUI mode and very unfriendly if you have to handcode the
relationships of controls to layout.

Other than that, the difference is really between the form designers and
the IDE itself. Most folks that I know that have been exposed to both
IDEs consider VS.NET more productive of an IDE, however, when the time
comes to put code behind these controls, the tables are turned, but then
again, now you are comparing a programming language to a framework.

Botton line, not quite apples and oranges, but also not apples to apples.

And now for the $64,000 question -- why do you ask?
