Hello Chris,

Please confirm that the necessary #SSL: were uncommented in the sync.conf
file. Next confirm the location of the .crt file along with the password.
Note that this file should be in the AvantGoServer/conf directory.

Let us know if you continue to have problems.

Tom

Hello - got it working - it was a bad certificate issue - I
probably mis-typed the server license key in the request
file - send a 2nd request and all installed / run fine now -
Palm clients are now forced to connect via only secure
connections - I've set it for a non-standard port (i.e. not
443) because of other services running on that server - it
works -

- one question I still can not seem to find is how to force
the Admin Server (UI Server) to run only under SSL - right
now it connects via http port 8091 - looking at the several
config files involved, I can't seem to find the right place
to move the admin login to any secure connection - again, it
would have to be a non-standard ssl port because of other
services on that server -

thanks,
chris o.
