After using the system for some time we se that users using
PocketPC are placed in the "All PocketPC Users" and Symbian
users in the "All Symbian Users" group.

If we enter the properties on these group the Profile info
shows either "This group has its own spesified profile" even
if all profile settings are set to DEFAULT, or the profile
info show "No profiles are assigned, using default profile".

We would like to control the users so we have created
several different group to control the profilsetting. We
would like not to use the default groups.

Do which profiles are then activ: For instance, my user
"oehe" is a member of both "All Symbian...", "All PocketPC"
and "Profile 1 for companyname". The "Profile for
companyname" is the one I would like to active. All profile
settings in both "All PocketPC" and "All Symbian..." are set
to default. All profile setting in "Profile for
companyname" is NOT set to default but to a specific profil
(or profiles).

Which one will be used ?

And if I try to remove my user from the "All Pocket..." or
"All Symbian.." I get a message saying that users are not
allowed to be removed from read only groups"

So how can I be sure that the users get the active profile
from the group that I prefer, and not from one of the
default groups where the users are put automaticly ?

Thanks

For users with multiple profiles/groups, you can prioritize the Profiles by
right clicking on Profile Settings and choosing Prioritize Profiles.

Hope this helps.
