Does anyone know of a way to change a border color? I would
like to give my DW an XP/Outlook feel, and so would like a
lite-blue, thin-lined border around Edit fields in my DW ...
but all I see available is the default black.

You should get the XP look and feel if you use the 3D Lowered border
style. You won't see it in the DataWindow Designer in the designer
panel but you should see it in the preview mode and in your DataWindow
when you run the .NET application.

I've discovered a bug in a developer build of DataWindow .NET 1.5
which prevents the XP look and feel from working. Can you verify that
it works ok in version 1.0?

Dave Fish

it's fine in 1.0 build 4510, but XP style would of been nice
as another border style instead of replacing 3d lowered. The
limitations of xp style are a pain (i.e. not been able to
change the text colour etc)

Jon

I agree that having 3D Lowered still an option would be nice. I'll
enter an enhancement request for that.

Can you clarify what you mean about not being able to change the text
color, etc.? You should be able to change the text color in the
designerr or using the Modify method.
