Hi there
We try to use the datawindow .net in our n tier architecture
with remoring.
We have created a transaction object with all the needed
properties and when we use the connect() method, a null
object exception is thrown.
We do try the same thing on the client side, this works
fine.
Is there something else I have to do on the server side?
thanks for answerts
markus

Hi, Markus.

We have a workable 3-tier app based on remoting
There are some issues but they are not concerned with connection.
You should check where is resided your DW and where is resided your
transaction object and so on.

In our app we have datastore on server that is connected to db.
On client we have a dw that is not connected.
To client and back we are sending blobs using dw.GetFullState() and
dw.SetFullState()

good luck
Serg
