I have this error message sometimes when connecting to a clipper database on
a Novell 4.11 server. Has anyone seen this message before or have any idea
what is the cause or the fix?

This is a Micros Fidelio (non-ADS) error message. It appears that users
receive this error any time there is a communication failure between the
client and server. You might need to check your IPX settings between
client and server. There's a checkdos utility on our developer zone
(devzone.advantagedatabase.com) that may help return correct Advantage
Error.
