Is support for Delphi 2005 intended for the 1.5 version?
I would like to try datawindows.Net but I use the Borland
environment.
D2005 is the successor of C#Builder, now it´s a studio also, hosting
both Delphi (Win32 and .Net) and C# and I would be happy to try it for
my .Net incursions......

Thanks in advance,
Leonardo Pasta

DW.NET 1.0
It does not depend on your environment. If you can bind other *.dll (.NET)
in your project, it would be possible to use DW.net..., but I'm not sure if
you can see the dw in your controllist... In SharpDevelop (Open Source) you
can bind the DW.net and you can use it...

DW.NET 1.5
...the Beta should be published today...

Gzim,

I still can't get DW.NET working in SharpDevelop. I know how to insert it
into the toolbox and I event can drag it onto the form the first time I
bind it to the toolbox, but as soon as I attach any datawindow object it
starts throwing exceptions and the whole thing stops working. Are you
actually using DW.NET in SharpDevelop? Can you give me any hints?

Thank you.

Leon Habinsky.

Leon,

Unfortunately I can't really give you any hints, but I'm using dw.net in
sharpDev. without any problems.

Restriction: I can't bind the datastore & transactionobject to the toolbox
:(, still the dw-control.. (Version 1.0)... now with 1.5 Beta I can bind all
controls/classes...

other restriction: I think in VS 2003 after you've put the *.pbl-path to the
control, you can choose the datawindowobject's ...this is not possible in
#Develop..

try to download the new version of #Develop.

version info:
I have the v 1.1 of .net (german) and #develop v 1.0.2 build 1726...

Gzim,

For ASP.NET take a look at this:
