Are there any plan that Sybase comes with an application
framework for .net (similiar to the PFC) which has the .Net
Datawindow as a key element ? From my point of view this
would make the .NetDatawindow very strong and improve the
productivity in .Net application development.

Armin,

.NET is already a Framework... DW.net is strong enough and it improve the
productivity in .NET applications :-).. just use it at the correct place...I
mean, for DB-applications you don't need DataSet, DataView, Crystal Reports
etc..., now you have DW.Net Designer...

...it's just my point of view.

Sybase has no plans to do this. I know some TeamSybase members have
been working on implementing PFC functionality for .NET but I think
this would be a good CodeXchange project that could be worked on
collaboratively.
