I believe this is because an ASP .NET client does not have permission
to invoke the Postscript printer that Ghostscript uses. It may also
have something to do with the write permissions for the directory.

I'll check with the development team to see if they have a solution or
a workaround for this issue.

Does the Sybase DataWindow PS printer show up on the machine? As Dave
said, security settings won't allow the printer to be installed with
ASP.NET; however, if you saved a DataWindow to PDF via DW Designer at
one point on that machine, the printer definition should then be
available for ASP.NET.

One troubleshooting technique is to use FileMonitor for
http://www.sysinternals.com. If you save as PDF from Designer, you
can see what directories are searche for the Ghostscript
functionality. Compare that output to doing the same from ASP.NET and
we'll at least get an idea of how far into the process it's gotten.

Hi,

Sorry for the trouble. It was write permission problem to directory.
FileMonitor program helped us to detect it.

Looks like after a long time, this is a very useful product
from Sybase.

Thanks for your help.
