Are we going to have a forum specific to DW 1.5 problems?

I found a problem, but I don't know what it is. I don't know
if it is buggy coding or if there is something legit about
it.

I have a "guestbook" webpage that shows you a list of
messages, and allows you to modify or add messages. It is
very straight forward with only a few lines of code per
page. When I use "<>" with any character typed in between
them (in any of my columns), it bombs out on the disconnect
of the transaction. However when "<>" is typed by itself
with nothing in between, it runs fine. For example, when I
type <a> it bombs but not <>. go figure. I can send my db
file and source if necessary. The program is so simple, it
almost embarrasing.

Thanks,
Chris.

I was told the beta newsgroup access information should be on the site
now - I haven't checked myself though, so can't confirm.

More to the point though, if you think you have a bug, please submit a
case via the guidelines in the beta agreement. While I'll try to
catch what I can on the newsgroup, having the issue opened ensures
that you have someone working on it and there will be appropriate
follow-up. Use the discussion forum more to share ideas, how to,
etc.

Please specify where this newsgroup can be found.
I can't find it by myself, I need help.

It's not on the beta site and it's not on pfcguide.com nor
is it available on the datawindow.net support section.

This newsgroup is very important for us. For nearly a week I
get the answert I have to write into the beta newsgroup
which IS NOT AVAILABLE !?!?!?

I apologize, I was told the information was posted, but it apparently
is not although the 'people' that do the posting have the information.
I expect it should be available by the end of the day today. If I had
the ability to handle it myself, believe me I would have!

If you're running into a technical issue, please go ahead and open a
case - that much appears to be working <g> - and and engineer will be
able to follow up with you immediately.

Again, I really apologize for the missteps here, but sometimes the
inner bureaucracy of getting the simple things done just takes over.

Looks like the newsgroup info has been added to the Beta page...but I can't
get it to work. I'm using OE6, I entered the account info, and it keeps on
rejecting me. Is anyone else able to get through?

forums.sybase.com. I'm connected using forums.powersoft.com but can't see
the private groups.

You shouldn't be using forums.powersoft.com. I think that has been
