Hi All!

I am using the Advantage Database Server version 6.11 / 6.12.

I have a program that posts data to the database....No problem. Every once
in a while, I get an error....not my software error, but a message from the
advangate database server.....

It reads as follows:

+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

| Advantage Database Server
|
+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| An exception occured in the Advantage Local Server axCommReq function.
This process will |
| be stopped. The exception code is 0xC0000005. The base load address is
0x1E940000. |
| The exception occured at address 0x77E765CC.
|
|
|
| [OK]
|

+-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

It runs fine for days, every once in a while I will get this screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

--Mike

I'd recommend checking the version of the adsloc32.dll. Then, go to our
devzone | updates section, and get the most recent version for the major
release. I believe that there was an update to this dll for sporadic
exceptions.
