I have installed the following

Pylon iAnywhere 5.54 on Windows 2003 Server (std edt)
patched up. Server is not in a domain. Notes client v6.51.

Notes Client is working ok.
Pylon installed without any errors.
Users are autocreated and authenticated using HTTP towards
Domino server.

I have installed this many times before, but this time
something went wrong and I do not know what.

When the user logs in on the webpage the first time, the
"verify your account" screen is not shown. Users is sent
directly to the "verify your timezone and enter
city/zipcode" screen. And the fields for username and
e-mail are not fetched from the Domino server.

But there must be connection between the Pylon and the
Domino server because the user can only log on to the Pylon
WEB page with a correct Domino username and password.

Any clues ? Any W2K03 patched that should not be applied ?
The last time I did this kind of installation was before
X-mas 2004. And I followed the same procedure this time.
Has MS released any patches after X-mas which stops the IIS
server on W2K03 from working correctly with Pylon iAnywhere
?

Any clues before I kill the partition and start all over ?
I have tried to reinstall the Pylon 2 times (removing all
files, db and reg-settings as well). but the results are the
same.

Thanks

Oystein:

Pylon Anywhere discussions now take place in
ianywhere.public.pylonanywhere.general.

For this case, make sure that the 'Show Domino UI at registration time &
create default Domino server connection' has been checked from the User
Settings tab of the Domino Profile.

I have attached a screen shot.

Hello Matt.

I have tried that, but it did not work. I looks to me like
there are some scripts/ASP pages not beeing run. I have
asked our local support to do a reinstall of the Win2003
Server operatingsystem because it looks like something went
wrong with the MS Security settings during a patch (MS
patch) install.
