Is there any way to pass the user and password to replite
other than the -u and -p switch? AIX seems to show very
long command lines when using the ps command, and the user
and password are clearly visible. This seems like a fairly
large security hole.

Hi, Marty,

Yes, the fix is in the forthcoming ASE 12.5.3 ESD #1. I don't know the EBF
number of the release, but the bug fix number is 371192. It should be
released in the next couple of weeks -- certainly before the end of the
month.

With the Replicator fix, if you omit the password from the command line, you
will be prompted to enter it, and the characters you type will not be
visible.

Thanks,
Wanda
