Are bug fixes for security holes (buffer overflows, sql
injection attacks, etc.) contained in EBF releases 12.0.0.5,
6, 7, and 8?

Our organization currently runs v12.0.0.4. We are upgrading
to v12.5.x in the Summer and are deciding whether it is
worth patching v12.0 to the most current release in the
meantime.

There has been at least one urgent customer notification,
http://www.sybase.com/detail/1,6904,1033894,00.html,
specific to the Windows platform.

I'd advise applying the latest rollup even if you are not on windows.
Security issues aren't the only kind of bug that can cause you
problems, and there is a fair list of crs fixed between 12.0.0.4
and 12.0.0.8 ESD #3.

Cheers,
-bret
