I am using Office Hours, a medical professional database scheduler. I am
getting a 6420 error in my networking to the Advantage Server. I followed
the online directions of creating a non-used port with the IP address. It
still doesn't work. The Database is running on only one pc. They are all
Windows XP Pro. One of the machines has Service Pack 2 on it. It didn't
matter what pc was the Database Server. It doesn't work.

Has anybody been through this? What else can be done to get this to work?
I moved the Database to the different pc's (they are 4 of them)

Please help! Thanks

We are having the same issue with Office Hours 10 and Advantage Server 7.
I have found an article at:
http://physkb.ndchealth.com/display/2n/index.asp?tab=browse&r=0.3143688
We tried the ADS.INI file creation and the error still persists. We have
the same issue at a test environment at our office and at the clients
office. We are also missing the ports 47 & 1743 being open as one error
resolution site said needed to be open for the Advantage server to be
functional. you can view the open ports by typing netstat -a at the
command line. Please post any fixes you have tried. Thanks in advance!
