hello,

I am trying to install/deploy our application on the PocketPC emulator.
We have:
- M-Buz version 5.5 Application edition(including ultralite)
- Sybase Studio version 9.02

We did setup the PocketPC emulator and it is connecting to Active Sync
version 3.7

Problem:
The problem is when installing the M-Buz pocketpc client on an PocketPC
Emulator and Active Sync 3.7 an unsupported Dvice Type error "M-Businsess
Client does not support the connected device.

How can I install the M-Business Client on the PocketPC emualtor !
Do I need the PocketBuilder product to have MBuz on the PocketPC emualtor !

thanks,
Sam

The M-Business client is built for the specific platform (ARM, MIPS,
SH3). The PPC emulator only supports x86. Since there isn't an x86
build of the PPC M-Business client, you can't run it in the emulator.

hello,

Since there is no way to have MBusiness deployed on a pocketpc emulator,
Can you please suggest us a way to demo our product using pocketpc by either
emulator or a third party tool. We have seen some other companies uses
emulator look like tools projected for demo purposes.

thank you,
Sam

Use Microsoft's Remote Display utility which is part of the Windows Mobile
Developer Power Toys. Available from

ab28-6a2b006edfe9&displaylang=en>
or <http://tinyurl.com/nwjn>

Essentially, it displays your pocketpc screen on your pc/laptop.
