I have SQL anywhere Studio Version 7 running on a 2003
Server.
When I attempt to run my front end software and connect to
my
database I receive this error: "SQL State=08S01
[sybase][odbc
driver][adaptive server anywhere] Communication Link Error:
Communication Error"
and the next error message is: "SQL state=S1000
[sybase][odbc
driver][adaptive server anywhere] General Error:Connection
Terminated

Also, I retrieved a connection log from my frontend software
package and it logged this: "The number of prefetch rows has
been reduced to 41 due to the prefetch buffer limit.
Consider using the PrefetchBuffer connection parameter."

Has anyone seen this before and if so how did you fix it?

Thanks,

Ron

Are you running ASA 7.0.4? Earlier maintenance releases are not supported on
Win2003. See http://www.ianywhere.com/products/supported_platforms.html.

Thank you for your response. Yes, I am running the latest
available build, 7.0.4 which was distributed Feb 9. What do
you think?
