How do I know hoe many transactions / second my database / server is
processing?

Using ASA 9.0.1 (1989) at linux.

There is currently no direct method to measure this from within the server.
(BTW: I just answered a similar question in the general newsgroup).

I can think of two ways to compute this value
- measure the transactions/sec within the client (e.g. the instest and
transtest sample programs do this)
- dbtran the transaction log and count the number of commits and divide
by the elapsed time
