I just want to test a simple code. But I get an error
message. lEJBConn.CreateJavaInstance always returns -1.
My code is:

converter conv
EJBConnection lEJBConn
double yen
Integer li
javavm i_jvm

i_jvm = create javavm
lEJBConn = CREATE EJBConnection
li = lEJBConn.CreateJavaInstance(conv, "Converter")
IF li < 0 THEN
MessageBox("Error", "Fail to create Java Class.")
ELSE
yen = conv.dollarToYen(10.0)
messagebox("Yen", string(yen))
END IF
IF Not IsNull(conv) THEN
destroy conv
END IF

I put Converter.class in my application's dirctory. And I
specified the classpath in tools->system options->java tab.

Thanks

i think you'll need to specify a classpath that points to your java
class when instantiating the javaVM

I did it. And I specified the classpath. But it still
doesn't work.

you can create proxies using the ejb2pb90.exe in the
.../sybase/shared/powerbuilder directory
