Hi,

I have installed ASE 12.5.2 on my XP and 2000 machines (the
dev. version). I am a db2 DBA. I am trying to install
PUBS2 or PUBS3 sample databases for practice but can't find
the correct sql file to run. The one I can see are for ASA
anywhere.....how do I install PUBS2 on ASE 12.5.2.....Please
HELP

Your question has nothng to do with ASE futures, but anyway...

Open a DOS box and go to %SYBASE%/ASE-12_5/scripts.
Then run this command:

isql -Usa -Pyour_sa_password -Syour-Servername -i instpbs3

This will install pubs3 in yoru server. It requires 3Mb of free space on
your default device. If the database creation fails, look into the proc
sp_diskdefault for directing the database to a different device.
