Hi
We are using Pylon ianywhere to synchronise calendar and contact lists
between Lotus Notes and mobile phones (nokia 6230) over gprs
For most users this works fine, but we do have some users with problems:
When synchronising, the user will see the error message on the phone:
'Synchronisation failed'. But the caledar is updated, and no error message
appears in the Pylon log (see attachment) When sychronising again the same
happens, but many calendar entries will appear double in the calendar (both
phone and lotus notes) The 3.rd time the entries appear 3 times and so on.
It seems that the calendar appointments appear many times, but the caledar
meetings synchronises as they should.

This does not happen to all users. One common factor for the users with this
problem seems to be that their mailbox is rather large (>1Gb), but that is
not unusual in Lotus Notes.

Some users will also have the problem that the the first synchronisation
fails, the error message in the log says: handleStartSync: can't find
database for /telecom/cal.vcs. When they try again it either works fine, or
they experience the first problem described.

Some information:
- The gprs connection is stable
- Pylon version 5.5.4.29
- Have tried with several software versions on nokia 6230 (up to 5.35)

I hope anyone can help us correcting this problem.

regards
Nils

Nils:

The latest version of Pylon Anywhere is version 6.2.1, and a number of
SyncML enhancements have been made since 5.5.4.

Is it possible for you to install this latest version on a test server or
upgrade your production environment?

Matt..

I do see that I may have to try that if noone knows how to fix this in the
5.5.4 version.
