Appeon supports EAServer Proxy and Oracle database no problem. The error
should be caused by the ProxyUserName DBParm parameter (an Appeon
unsupported feature). According to Appeon Help, only CommitOnDisconnect and
CacheName parameters can be used in the DBParm property.

If you have to use ProxyUserName parameter for a particular purpose, you can
use it in a server NVO.

Regards,
Julie
