Why is not possible to use Send( Handle(xxx),
WM_SETFONT(48), ul_hFont, 1 ) to change the font properties
of statictext control?? For singlelineedit it works well...
Has anyone tried to use the same mechanism to change the
menu font settings??

I don't see why it shouldn't. I just don't see why you would bother
when there are font properties on the static text object that you can
access directly.

Menu's are different creatures. You need to do an owner-drawn control
to modify it's visual characteristics, much as Aart Onkenhout has done
with the CoolMenu object:
