Hello,
I'm using a Database channel with the settings:

Data URL: .../DBconduit.aspx - this file call's a SP in the DataBase and
output a XML with data
Schema URL: .../fileDB.xsd - contains the correct schema for the XML above.

Until here there's no problem, it works fine in my application.
But when I update my DataBase the M-business don´t show the changes.

- I sync and re-sync several times enabling "Refresh all content at next
sync"
- I've cleared the channel on the device Channel Manager.
- I've cleared the channel Cache on the server.
- I've reseted the Database channel on the server.

and the 17 new records on my DB still don't appear on the device!

- Now my device is syncing using a database channel that DOESN'T EXIST!

Yes, I've deleted the database channel, there is no other and is still
working fine with the OLD XML DATA!

Why? where is the old XML data stored?

Can You Help Me!?
My server and client version are both 5.7.

Thanks.

FMCC

You asked a number of questions in your message. Without knowing what you
are trying to achieve, I hope the following is helpful:

1. Database channel is different from Web channel in that you can't delete
its 'cache' from server. A refresh all sync will update device records for
you.

2. XML database records are stored (on PPC) in this directory: \\Program
Files\AvantGo\Databases\srs

3. To delete a xml db from device, you need to manually delete respective
files from the above directory. Deleting XML db channel definition from
the server will not delete on-device data. Doing that just means that you
don't want to synchronize this db anymore.

4. Regarding your problem of not being able to sync down new records from
the backend DB to device, you can test by fetching the data & schema URL
from a desktop browser to see if you indeed have the data there.

5. It is always helpful to turn on debug level logging on MBA server. You
can do this by setting LogLevel to debug in sync.conf file. You can then
check for any debug/error messages in sync_error.log

HTH,
