Does anyone have success in migrating a POS application by using Appeon.
Would like to hear some stories of problems people ran into in regards to
speed and printer/pos peripherals connectivity.
As I assume this is the only thing holding back a pos app moving to the web.

Thanks

Yes, we can do POS application migration.  One similar case is the State of Washington's Ferry System; which is a live site using Appeon to do online reservation and ticket sales for the ferries.  The application is set up to do credit card processing.

Some facts about Appeon for POS application migration:
    a. Appeon fully supports client-side integration.  In order words, Appeon can easily integrate with many kinds of applications.
    b. Appeon has a small ActiveX which allows printing/POS peripheral connectivity that is essentially no different from PowerBuilder in terms of functionality and performance.
Therefore, there is no need to worry about speed and printer/pos peripherals connectivity.

Julie
