Hello

I am using Appeon 3.0 and PB 9.0.

We are using Yield function and multithread function like shareobjectget,
shareobjectregister in our programes. Unfortunately, appeon doesn't support
those functions now. Any workaround for them? The reason why we use
multithread functions is that we want to show users one progress bar when
retreiving large amount rows.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Steven

Hi Steven,

You may use a message box or a progress bar to make the users aware that the retrieve of large amount of data is in progress and it will take relatively long.

Anyway, we would suggest you try to break down the retrieve of large amount of data into steps, so the users do not need to wait long for the retrieving.  You can get detailed instructions from section 5.7.1 in the Appeon Performance Tuning Guide to for detailed instructions.

Regards,
Julie
