I have an M_business application that seems to work just
fine, but I get an error message now and again that says
there is insufficient memory to display the page. If I do a
soft reset, everything is fine, and I can load the page and
continue on. I'm assuming this is a memory leak.
Obviously I can't ship it to users with this problem.

I am working in the Palm emulator, I haven't tried to
duplicate on a real device yet. I have version 5.7 b1024
Linux. I have tried to make sure I am closing my dbSets, is
there something else I might be doing that could cause this
or is this a bug in M_Business software?

Mike.

I have not worked with the Palm emulator (or simulator) in quite some
time, but I do remember that its default memory configuration used to be
extremely small so changing it to reflect what a real device has might help.

Also, test this in a device. The emulator is good for rudimentary
testing, but when it comes to memory and I/O problems, device testing is
the only thing that really matters. Again, because emulators can be
tweaked in all sorts of ways, they don't usually give a good
reproducible for engineering to take a look at.
