All;

FYI: I have just completed a port of the STD Foundation Classes for PK
to PowerBuilder 9.0.3. I have created a new section (folder) under the PB
section of CodeXchange called "Foundation Classes" and have uploaded the
first release a few minutes ago!

This was tough as I had to port the FC's from Unicode back into ANSI,
then re-tune them for PB (whew!). I have just completed an "EAServer
Monitoring" application as a sample application using the FC's. I will be
uploading that to the EAServer section of CodeXchange later today!

I have also ported the STD FC's for PK to EAServer (yeehaaa!), and will
be uploading these later (next week). Sooooo .... now you can build
components in PK, PB and / or EAS and interchange them (shades of .NET) with
little or no coding changes!

What is your plan for bridging the Unicode gap between PB9 and PB10?
Will you migrate the PB9 STDFC back to Unicode, or port the PK STDFC and
re-tune it for PB10?

Bug;

You took the words right out of my mouth <g>!

I think this will be the one and only release for PB 9.x. I already have a
PB 10 (Unicode) version and of course PK is Unicode .. so it makes more
sense to get the PB port released in Unicode ASAP. The EAServer version I
have is PB 9.0.2 and I will update that to PB 10.x ASAP as well.
From that point on, all development will be focused on Unicode versions
of PK/PB for sure!

Thanks for asking.

Regards ... Chris
